It seems that all bets will now be off as far as the annual Triple J’s Hottest 100 is concerned with this years winner being unintentionally leaked on ABC’s own website. While advertising for the up-coming February edition of JMag, the site makes mention of the UK nu-folk quartet that topped the 2009 countdown.
The Tripple J Hottest 100 has become an annual tradition in Australia, with the nation voting for their favourite songs of the year. The top 100 songs are then broadcast Nationwide on January 26th – Australia Day.
